The New York Times: MDA’s Response to Sarona Marketing Terror Attack

The New York Times spoke with Magen David Adom Chief of Staff Uri Shacham about the EMS organization’s response to Wednesday’s terrorist attack in Tel Aviv.

MDA medical teams treated 13 people suffering from gunshot wounds and evacuated them to four hospitals in the Tel Aviv area. In addition, MDA Blood Services provided the hospitals with 37 units of blood and treated 13 people suffering from stress symptoms.

Since the beginning of the Wave of Terror, MDA teams provided lifesaving medical treatment to 450 victims and assisted more than 276 people suffering from stress symptoms.
