Last week, Magen David Adom (MDA) hosted a delegation of young leaders and influencers from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Egypt who wanted to learn about the world’s best emergency service organization.
Dr. Eli Jafe, paramedic and director of international relations for MDA, welcomes a member of the Arab delegation.
They toured the William H. Bloomberg Jerusalem Station, where they were welcomed by Dr. Eli Jafe, director of MDA’s international relations; Ori Shaham, head of the Bloomberg Station, and a group of MDA staff and volunteers.
The visit focused on MDA’s lifesaving work—showcasing its training, technological expertise and innovation. The delegates visited the dispatch center to see the MDA-developed technology in action, observed a trauma simulation, drove an ambulance in the simulator, and viewed a wide variety of MDA’s cutting-edge vehicles.

The visit to MDA Jerusalem will be featured in a film, Finding Abraham. It will premiere at the United Nations on the anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords in September.
The delegation was in Israel as part of the Leaders of Tomorrow program organized by ISRAEL-is in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs.  This is the reciprocal visit following an Israeli delegation’s trip to Dubai earlier this year.
