August 5, 2022 — Just hours ago, the Israel Defense Forces began a major offensive on Islamic Jihad in Gaza, after Israeli towns were forced to shelter for days under the threat of attack. The terror group was warned earlier in the day that Israel would take action if they didn’t halt their preparations for attack.
A senior Jihadist commander was killed in the offensive. Magen David Adom teams are on high alert, standing by in preparation for retaliation.
“The men and women of Magen David Adom are prepared for whatever trials the country may face in the coming days and are ready to render treatment to the injured even amid the challenging conditions of ceaseless rocket attacks,” said Eli Bin, MDA director-general.
“We train for virtually every scenario and most of our teams have had ample experience working under similar situations. They’re going to do what they do every day — save lives.”
