MDA paramedic Shai Kadosh had the unimaginable experience of discovering friends among the deceased due to Hamas terrorism while treating the injured on Saturday. He spent the day triaging dozens of wounded Israelis in Ofakim, when two lifeless bodies were brought to him. They were both friends of his, and one had been his commander in the IDF.

“It is not easy to see these painful scenes, even though we have been through these things before,” said Kadosh. “Every time seems different, especially when it comes to people who are close to you. It breaks your heart.”
