30 French, American doctors and paramedics arrive in Israel to volunteer.

Thirty medical professionals from the US and France have arrived in Israel to work alongside teams in Magen David Adom ambulances and intensive care vehicles.

The doctors and paramedics are undergoing accelerated training to learn MDA’s protocols and procedures, become familiarized with equipment and medications, and learn how to act in a multi-casualty event and under fire.

French and American medical professionals who have come to Israel to volunteer during the war with Gaza.

“On Saturday morning [October 7], the moment we heard the war had broken out, I decided I must go to Israel. Tonight, I will be doing my first shift in an intensive care vehicle,” says Dr. Yoav Dori, a cardiologist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

“My colleagues and I are here to give and help and do everything we can. The most important people are the IDF soldiers and the residents of the south. I give them a big hug,” he adds.
