In this video, paramedic Lior Levy describes the day that changed his life forever, including learning two days ago that a patient he treated on October 7, who was critically injured when shot in the head, has survived.

While Levy was evacuating the wounded, his ambulance faced active gunfire, a barrage of rockets, and had shrapnel. He did not think he would survive.

Lior Levy: “There is the Lior of before October 7 and the Lior after. We have become different people, and it will always be that way.”
