Former American Vice President Mike Pence visited Magen David Adom’s national dispatch center in Kiryat Ono on Saturday, as part of a solidarity mission.

While visiting MDA’s dispatch center, he learned about MDA’s response to the recent Hamas attacks, its advanced dispatch technology, and addressed MDA’s first responders.

“I came here to say thank you and to say that we are with you,” Pence said in his radio address to all the MDA teams.

“I speak in great confidence on behalf of the American people that the American people are with you, and will be with you every day until the threat posed by the Hamas terrorists or any others is brought to an end.”

Pence heard the stories of the medics who provided medical treatment under fire as well as the heroic stories of MDA team members who sacrificed their lives while providing medical care.

“I want to say thank you again to all the men and women who wear the white of MDA, there may be more difficult days ahead, and people will be calling you,” said Pence.

“And I can see by the resolve on your face that you will be there with love and compassion.”

Pence was invited by former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon. While visiting MDA, he was shown an ambulance dedicated to slain MDA paramedic Amit Man by Samaritan’s Purse.
