Magen David Adom responded to a double shooting terror attack on Route 55 near the village of Azzun early Sunday morning.
MDA immediately dispatched Medicycles, ambulances, and MICUs. MDA medics provided treatment and evacuated the two victims, a 19-year-old woman in serious condition who has been placed on a ventilator and a 50-year-old-man in moderate condition with shrapnel wounds and a hurt shoulder, to the hospital.
“The injured woman was conscious and suffering from wounds to her shoulder and hand,” said paramedics Haim Lifshitz, Avicahi Ben Zruya, and Dr. Yaakov Seligman. “We stopped the bleeding and intubated her while she was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva in serious condition.”
“When we arrived at the Eliyahu checkpoint, we saw a car in which a man had been shot and was bleeding onto the windshield,” remarked EMT Shai Cohen. “Together with a medical team from the IDF, we evacuated him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in moderate condition.”
