Magen David Adom will medically secure Tel Aviv’s Pride and Hope Rally in Tel Aviv on June 6. Thousands of members of the gay community and their supporters are expected to attend the annual gathering in Charles Clore Park.
MDA is supporting the rally by dispersing teams throughout including ambulances, Mobile Intensive Care Units, Medicycles, and deploying medics on foot. Coordinating with the Israel Police, the Tel Aviv Municipality, and the organizers of the rally, MDA is ready to assist medically, as always.
This year’s gathering, the largest LGBTQ event in the Middle East, will not be the lively celebration that it typically is out of respect for the hostages who remain held in Gaza and the ongoing war. It will feature singers, speakers, and community leaders. Rainbow flags have been adapted to fit the moment, the yellow stripe has been expanded in honor of the hostages and their families.
