Large numbers of Magen David Adom medics arrived in ambulances, Mobile Intensive Care Units, and Medicycles to search several sites in Hadera following a series stabbing attacks.
It was a complicated attack across numerous locations. MDA treated one person in critical condition, one person in serious condition, and four people in moderate condition, aged 50 – 70, all with stab wounds and evacuated them to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center.
“This was a complex incident,” remarked paramedic Shaked Hajaj. “We realized that there were several locations of this attack, and we were sent to one site where there was a seriously injured person with stab wounds to many parts of his body, and he had a multi-system trauma. He was semi-conscious when we reached him, we provided life-saving treatment, and evacuated him to the hospital. Then, we returned to the scene to continue treating more people.”
While MDA teams were evaluating and assisting patients, the terrorist had not yet been neutralized and was still nearby.
“Despite the danger, we knew we had to provide medical treatment to the victims. We treated them and quickly evacuated them to the hospital,” said EMT Viki Kelly who arrived at the scene on Medicycle.
