One killed, 32 injured, including 6 in serious, 7 moderate, and 20 mild condition, after being struck by truck.

Large numbers of Magen David Adom teams were dispatched to Glilot Junction in central Israel, the site of a truck ramming, on Sunday. MDA paramedics, EMTs, and first responders arrived at the scene quickly in ambulances, Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), and on Medicycles to provide medical treatment. They treated and evacuated 37 people to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov, Beilinson Hospital, HaSharon Hospital, Edith Wolfson Hospital, Shamir Medical Center, Sheba Tel HaShomer Medical Center, Laniado Hospital, and Meir Medical Center. The Times of Israel reported that one elderly man died from his injuries.
MDA Blood Services supplied 90 units of blood and blood components to Beilinson Hospital, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov, and Meir Medical Center.
The ramming occurred north of Tel Aviv near the IDF’s Glilot base. The driver of the truck was killed by a civilian.
When MDA senior EMT Elior Yosef arrived at the scene, he saw that the truck had struck dozens of people who were standing at a bus stop. He and his team saw that eight people were trapped under the truck and several others were lying or walking near the truck.
“This was an extremely difficult scene,” said paramedic Yissachar Weiss who arrived at the site of the crash by Medicycle. “We immediately began treating the wounded. We managed to extricate seven people from under the truck with the help of members of the public, and one with the assistance of the fire department.”
