Magen David Adom received calls at 2:22 a.m. regarding a direct rocket strike by Hezbollah on a building in the Arab town of Tira. MDA immediately dispatched EMTs and paramedics in MICUs, ambulances, and Medicycles to the scene.
MDA EMTs and paramedics provided medical treatment to 11 people with shrapnel wounds and cuts from glass shards including three people in moderate condition and eight people in mild condition. Additionally, seven people were evacuated with anxiety symptoms.
“We arrived quickly with a large number of ambulances and saw a building with significant destruction,” remarked MDA paramedic Lior Silberberg who was one of the first to arrive on the scene.
MDA teams evacuated the injured people to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, Rabin Medical Center Beilinson in Petah Tikva, and Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center in Ramat Gan.
