Magen David Adom responded to rocket strikes in both northern and central Israel on Monday.

In Shfrar’am, an Arab town in northern Israel, MDA EMTs and paramedics pronounced a female in her 50s deceased. She was killed while in a protected area in a residential building. MDA also evacuated 10 people in mild condition with shrapnel injuries from Hezbollah projectiles.

“We arrived quickly at the scene and began searching a four-story building which had been hit,” said MDA EMT Hamza Al Hija. “On the top floor, we found a female, aged about 50, with multi-system injuries. She was unconscious, with no pulse, and not breathing, and we pronounced her death at the scene. We located and treated 10 mildly injured people who were in nearby buildings. They were all evacuated to the hospital in mild condition.”

In Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv, MDA EMTs and paramedics treated five people who were hurt in a Hezbollah missile strike and evacuated them to Beilinson Hospital. The injuries included a 54-year-old female who was conscious but in serious condition, one person in moderate condition, and three others in mild condition. They all had shrapnel wounds.

“We arrived rapidly on scene and saw a lot of destruction,” remarked MDA EMT Yaakov Lubinsky. “A 54-year-old female was fully conscious and lying on the road with shrapnel injuries in her lower limbs. We provided lifesaving treatment to stop the bleeding and evacuated her to the hospital in serious but stable condition. A number of anxiety victims were also treated on scene by MDA teams.”
