On Thursday evening, Nov. 6, the Synagogue of the Suburban Torah Center hosted a meaningful and highly informative community program presented by Hatzalah MetroWest in partnership with Magen David Adom (MDA) and American Friends of Magen David Adom. The focus of the evening was the “first seven minutes” of a medical emergency—the critical window before EMS arrives, when awareness and calm, simple actions can save lives.

The event drew a broad cross-section of the community, including families, students and seniors, as well as representatives of the Livingston Fire Department (LFD), Livingston Police Department (LPD), and Livingston First Aid Squad (LFAS), who attended in support and solidarity. Their presence underscored the shared mission of protecting life and promoting preparedness across the MetroWest community.
