This past year has been a challenging one for the people of Israel — and for the men and women of Magen David Adom. With near daily terror attacks and over 1,000 rockets fired at Israeli citizens, the targeting of Israel by hostile and well-armed adversaries will likely get worse — much worse.
An attack on Israel by Hezbollah is no longer a matter of “if.” It’s a matter of “when.”
Today, Hezbollah has 150,000 rockets and missiles — many of them GPS guided and capable of accurately hitting targets anywhere in Israel. Hezbollah could now fire as many as 1,000 rockets and missiles per day — more in a week than it fired during the entirety of the month-long war in 2006.
And in a conflict with Hezbollah, MDA’s current fleet of ambulances won’t be enough.
That’s why we’ve initiated an Ambulance Emergency Campaign to provide MDA with an additional 300 ambulances this year — three times what we typically provide annually.
We can’t wait until missiles are being launched toward Israel’s cities to launch this campaign. To have the ambulances MDA will need tomorrow, we need your support today.
