PROGRAM
Saskia Siderow

Saskia Siderow, MPH, is a healthcare analyst and journalist with a background in healthcare policy, serious illness and public health communications. She is the founder of healthcare communications consultancy Ormond House LLC, and the creator of The Aging Almanac, an evidence-based guide to navigating later life. Saskia also has years of personal experience as a caregiver for relatives living with serious illness and disability. Saskia previously spent a decade in financial journalism, including as Financial Services Correspondent at the Financial Times, an experience that continues to shape the rigor and independence of her editorial work. She holds a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and serves in advisory roles related to palliative care and geriatrics at the Mount Sinai Health System.

Yoni Yagadovsky

Yoni Yagodovsky was previously director of Magen David Adom’s Jerusalem region, including during the period between 2000 and 2004, when the city saw terrorist attacks, among them shootings, stabbings, and suicide bombings, on a near-daily basis.

In that position, he emerged as a leading expert on mass-casualty response.

In his current position, he serves as a liaison for Magen David Adom worldwide and also conducts training drills for civilians and EMS organizations — both in Israel and overseas.

He began his tenure at MDA as a youth volunteer in 1975, became an EMT in 1981, got his paramedic certification in 1990, and has held his current position since 2004.
