Shai Abramson was born in Jerusalem, and was exposed early on to the world of cantorial music. In 2008, he was appointed chief cantor of the Israel Defense Forces. He also serves as an EMT with Magen David Adom. He has been a volunteer medical technician and ambulance driver since 2020, when he decided to join the organization at the onset of the Covid pandemic. As the chief cantor of the IDF and representative cantor for the state of Israel, Cantor Abramson combines music with medical treatment and touches the hearts of many of his patients by giving them personalized care and attention.

Aryeh Myers has 20 years of frontline EMS experience, starting in 2002 when he qualified as a paramedic in London, working there for 10 years before moving to Israel in 2012 and joining Magen David Adom. He served as a senior paramedic and trainer for a decade before moving to MDA’s International Relations Department in 2022. Myers is married with four children.
