Both during and following Hamas’ brutal October 7 attack on Israel, the brave men and women of Magen David Adom have risked their own lives to save others.

American Friends of Magen David Adom of San Diego invites you to the 2024 San Diego Event: A Tribute to Our Heroes, honoring Dr. Roneet Lev. 

HONOREE

Dr. Roneet Lev is an Israeli-born emergency physician who practices at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.  Like Jews around the world, the attack on October 7 gave her anxiety and took her back to the times of the Holocaust. Lev treated her anxiety with action as one of the first foreign physicians to volunteer for the IDF. Since the war with Hamas, she has been to Israel three times volunteering with IDF and with Magen David Adom as an Emergency Responder. Her time in Israel has shown her that Am Yisrael Chai, the Jewish people will prevail.
