After a terrorist opened fire on a 27-year-old woman’s car in Ateret, north of Jerusalem, MDA EMT Orly Shlomo rushed to the scene.
She checked on the passengers, finding that the woman had been hit on her back and shoulder. Shlomo treated the patient, who was fully conscious, before having her evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in a MICU. A man and a six-week-old infant were also in the car and were uninjured. Shlomo cared for the baby until the baby’s grandmother arrived.
