A trip to a local Beit Kama café turned violent for a man in his 50s. The man was stabbed by a terrorist multiple times all over his body.
MDA ambulance driver and EMT Keren Koch happened to be at the café drinking coffee at the time of the attack. She heard screaming and commotion and then she “saw a severely wounded man exiting the coffee shop,” she told Israel’s News Channel12, “he collapsed in front of me.” After trying to stop the bleeding, Koch called MDA to send help.
MDA quickly arrived at the scene and brought the injured man to Soroka Hospital where he is fighting for his life. “We saw a 50 year-old-male with stab wounds lying unconscious at the entrance to the café,” said MDA Paramedics Shachar Aharon and Ari Friedman. “We immediately provided life-saving treatment and evacuated him to hospital while fighting for his life.”
