Tens of thousands of Israelis lined the streets to show their love and support for the Bibas family as Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas were laid to rest near their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz. Magen David Adom teams secured the route and were there to provide emergency medical care to all who needed it.
Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas were kidnapped from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023. Yarden Bibas, Shiri’s husband and Ariel and Kfir’s father, was kidnapped separately that day. Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir were brutally killed by Hamas terrorists while in captivity and their bodies were returned to Israel more than a year after their abduction in a ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas. Yarden was returned to Israel alive in January 2025. Â
