Throughout Israel’s war with Hamas, Magen David Adom’s national Sussman Family Foundation Human Milk Bank has supplied more than 600 liters of breast milk to premature babies, babies who were orphaned, babies whose mothers were abducted or injured, and babies whose mothers are serving in the Israel Defense Forces. While the milk bank has seen an increase in demand, it has also welcomed many new breast milk donors. Some 200 new donors have joined the 700 already-established breast milk donors; there is no shortage of breastmilk in Israel.

Breast milk provided by the Sussman Human Milk Bank meets strict regulations and is tested for safety.
