A team of Arab-Israeli Magen David Adom medics is featured in a recent segment on Israel’s Kan Arabic channel.

In the report, they share their experiences on October 7 and the unique and sometimes complex position Arab-Israeli medics find themselves in.

The piece focuses on how MDA is both staffed by all members of Israeli society and helps everyone: “the white uniform has nothing to do with identity, religion, or race,” the presenter says.

When asked if they consider themselves heroes, the medics are quick to say no. “It’s our job, it’s our life,” says paramedic Muad al-Amur.
