Jews, Arabs work as a “family” to save lives with Israel’s national ambulance service.

There’s still a long road to lasting peace in the Middle East after decades of war and hostility. One group may be a model for coexistence and shared humanity. 

The paramedics are united in an area torn apart by division. They are Arabs and Jews working together in Israel. It’s called Magen David Adom, and it’s more than the Israeli version of the Red Cross; it’s the national ambulance service. It serves everyone, and it’s made up of people of all backgrounds.
