When Danny Atali, 66, suffered a heart attack in Ashdod Yam Park and collapsed in his kayak, his friends, park personnel, and MDA did all the right things to save his life. MDA EMT Yarin Hayat alerted the park worker where the defibrillator was, opened it remotely, and provided instructions on its use. She also guided Danny’s friends on how to perform CPR, all while the Mobile Intensive Care Unit ambulance was on its way. Watch Israel’s Channel 12 report.
