Students at the Afikei Daat Hesder Yeshiva in Sderot awoke to the sound of red alert sirens on Saturday. Approximately 20 students at the yeshiva are Magen David Adom volunteers who went to help treat the wounded and murdered across the city.

The students volunteered at MDA’s Sderot station where they were divided into teams and treated the wounded who arrived at the station. They were later called to assist with emergency cases throughout the city.
