When two-week-old Netanel’s parents realized that their infant did not wake up from a nap, they immediately called Magen David Adom for help.
MDA paramedics rushed to their home, performed advanced resuscitation, and restored the baby’s breathing.
Netanel’s family held a dinner in honor of the one-year anniversary of their son’s resuscitation and invited the MDA team who saved Netanel’s life to thank them.
“Netanel was in mortal danger and to our great joy the MDA team was there in time to perform CPR and bring him back to life. We all thank G-d for the miracle He performed for us, by sending these MDA angels to us,” remarked Netanel’s parents. “After the great trauma we went through, we chose to invite those who saved his life for dinner to express our gratitude. We thank the staff very much and we are excited to meet them again, this time with a big smile.”
“We are happy to celebrate little Netanel’s miracle together with his family. It was very fun to see them, this time under positive circumstances,” said paramedic Hillel Sharon. “The last time we saw Netanel, he vacillated between life and death, and today at dinner we saw him running and smiling. I wish him health and happiness.”
