Three people were seriously injured in a terrorist stabbing attack at the Friendly Mall in Gan Yavne, a small city in southern Israel. The victims are three young men, ages 25, 20, and 17, who suffered multiple stab wounds.

Magen David Adom Medicycle first responders, ambulances, and Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs) rushed to the scene and immediately brought the wounded to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod. Two of the victims suffered from severe head injuries; the third was in moderate condition.

“We arrived quickly on scene and found a semi-conscious 25-year-old male lying on the ground, bleeding from upper body stab wounds,” said MDA paramedic Yoel Kahan. “We fought to save his life on the way to the hospital until we reached the trauma room. Doctors in the hospital are continuing to fight for his life.”

“This was a difficult scene,” said MDA paramedic Shiri Barlev. “A 20-year-old-male was unconscious and suffering from stab wounds to his upper body and limbs. We treated him and evacuated him to the hospital in a Mobile Intensive Care Unit in serious condition.”

Earlier in the day, a 20-year-old off-duty soldier was injured in a stabbing incident in Be’er Sheva’s main bus station. MDA paramedic Dany Shtarkman and EMT Ron-El Yisraeli evacuated him to the hospital in a MICU.
