As Israel’s national emergency medical service, Magen David Adom is prepared to ensure the safety and well-being of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, as well as of his delegation, for the duration of their official visit to Israel.

MDA teams are equipped to address any circumstances for Vance and the other dignitaries who are in Israel to stabilize the ceasefire in place between Israel and Hamas following the two-year war that began with the October 7, 2023 attacks. MDA is also reinforcing its presence along main roads and in cities to provide swift response and medical attention for anyone in need, including in areas where routes are closed to the public due to the high-profile visit.
